Mesquite is reminding residents of year-round, free access to mental health resources during September’s Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. The city has offered free counseling and referral services since last year through a partnership with the AZAR Foundation, based in Dallas. Residents can call 833-298-9111 to schedule a virtual or in-person session. The AZAR Foundation offers virtual or in-person counseling visits for individuals, couples, families or groups.
